Pancakes on Pancake Day. Who wouldn't? I am not really a big fan of sickly sweet pancakes but my partner is and loves pancakes! So I thought I would try my hand at making some and here is the result!

INGREDIENTS (makes 3/4):
135g self raising flour
1/2 tsp of salt
2tbsp of golden caster sugar
130ml of milk
1 large egg
50g chocolate chips
2tbsp melted butter
50g crushed hazelnuts
Additional: Nutella (and plenty of it!)
METHOD:
Sift the flour, salt and sugar into a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, crack a large egg into the milk and mix together.
Pour the milk and egg mixture into the flour mixture and whisk until it creates a thick gloopy mixture. Add in chocolate chips and crushed hazelnuts and mix.
Heat a pan on the stove with 2tbsp of melted butter. Once hot enough, gloop your mixture into the pan to a size of your choice.
As it turns to a golden brown, you can flip!
Once the pancake has cooked through (ours were roughly 1cm thick and took 4 mins to cook through) remove from the hot pan.
Spread on as much Nutella as you like.
Repeat as many times as you like and enjoy!
